Why I Chose Not to Have Chemotherapy

One of the questions I’m asked most often is, “Why didn’t you choose chemotherapy?”

When I was diagnosed with cancer, I knew I had important decisions to make. After prayer, research, and careful consideration, I chose to focus on supporting my body’s natural ability to heal rather than beginning with chemotherapy.

In this video, I share the three main reasons behind that decision, including my concerns about chemotherapy’s effects on healthy cells and the immune system. I also discuss a study that influenced my thinking about the benefits and risks of chemotherapy and why I believe it’s important to ask questions about every treatment option.

For me, one question became especially important:

What if I focused first on giving my body everything it needed to heal?

That question changed the direction of my journey. I changed my nutrition, reduced toxins where I could, addressed my emotional health, and most importantly, sought God’s wisdom through His Word.

This video isn’t about telling anyone else what treatment decision to make. It’s about sharing why I made mine and encouraging you to research, ask questions, and prayerfully seek wisdom for your own journey.
