Words Can Kill - Paula Black
/Does what you say really matter? After all, they’re just words. I received an email this morning from someone who said, “please pray for MY cancer.”
This is a common request that I hear often when I’m doing cancer coaching. On the surface these words might seem acceptable, descriptive, and even understandable. But I’m here to tell you… they are deadly!
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 18:21, that life and death are in the power of the tongue. In the Amplified Bible it says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it, will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.”
